Church and School 89th Annual Columbus Day Bazaar! |

will be held on October 11 & 12, 2008! The Saints Peter and Paul Church and School, across from Washington Square in North Beach at 660 Filbert Street, hosts its 89th annual Columbus Day Bazaar on Saturday, October 11 (10am- 7pm) and Sunday, October 12 (10am-7pm), 2008. The Bazaar features games, food and good old-fashioned, low-tech entertainment for children and adults. The Bazaar’s amusements include: a San Francisco landmarks mini-golf, pumpkin bowling, salami toss game, funny photos, cake booth, face painting, dunk booth and more. Food offerings include Italian sodas, beer, wine, foccacia pizza, grilled sausage sandwiches and more. Admission is free. Most games are $1-3 each and most food items are $1-8 each. An additional Italian style dinner is Sunday, Oct. 12 from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Adults: $10 each dinner. Children (12 years and under) and Seniors (65 years and older): $5 each dinner. All proceeds from The Bazaar benefit the educational and scholarship goals of The Saints Peter and Paul School (Grades K- 8) and The Saints Peter and Paul Church (services in English, Italian and Chinese) and The Saints Peter and Paul Pre-Kindergarten Program. Saints Peter and Paul has been hosting the Bazaar in North Beach since 1919. Staff at the Bazaar is entirely volunteer. More information at 415-421-0809 |
