VIDES West USA Vides USA is a Salesian lay volunteer organization that is dedicated to the promotion and education of socially at-risk youth and women worldwide. VIDES USA provides service opportunities that build leadership skills among American volunteers by emphasizing the value of solidarity and the respect of the human person, striving for social justice, sharing oneself freely, and incorporating Christian spirituality into the rhythm of everyday living. The volunteers become members of a worldwide Salesian family, joining efforts to be transformational leaders in society by meeting the needs of others through education, empowering those they serve to effect positive societal change For more information about VIDES volunteer opportunities, contact Sr. Rachel Crotti, FMA, at 415-433-1588, or email to VidesWUSA@prodigy.net |
