Bazaar/Festival Committee.

Chinese Home Fellowship

Chinese Apostolate

Offers a variety of activities with the family in mind; religious, recreational and liturgical. Mass in Cantonese every Sunday at 10:15. 415-433-1107 or visit

Choirs.
We have Choirs in English, Italian, and Cantonese. The Choirs provide music during the scheduled Masses, and alos at weddings and funerals. 415-421-0809.

Holy Name Society
Devotion to the Holy Name of God by attending weekly Mass and setting good examples for youth, by praying and saying the rosary. Group Mass 8:45 A.M. every second Sunday of each month. 415-421-0809 or email to

Italian Catholic Federation (I.C.F.) Promotes the Catholic religion to the community, and also works to maintain the Italian heritage. For more information call 415-421-0809.

Knights of Columbus. Our Knights of Columbus are the Dante Council #2563. Dedicated to faith, good works, and the suppport of the Church. The Knights get together on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:00PM at Ceaser's Restaraunt. Call Vito Corcia at 415-564-4449.

Lectors/Eucharistic Ministers
Our Ministry is to proclaim the Word of God and distribute Holy Communion at Mass and to the homebound, senior citizens, etc. Must attend training program. For more info, call 415-421-0809.

Liturgy Committee
A workshop for members, Liturgical Ministers and interested parishioners seeking to deepen their appreciation of the role of worship. 415-421-0809.

Madonna Adolorata Society
A religious, charitable group that honors the Blessed Mother under the title of "Sorrowful Mother". Membership is open to all who are voted in by the membership at large. 415-421-0809.

Madonna della Guardia
Anyone wishing to join this society, "The Lady of the Guardian," is welcome. 415-421-0809.

Madonna del Lume
Italian women from the town of Porticello, Italy, who wish to become members in honoring the "Mother of Light" are welcome. Feastday: October 2, 2005. Mass at Fisherman's Wharf: Saturday, October 1, 2005. 415-421-0809.

Ottantenni
Specifically designed for parishioners 75 +. A free annual luncheon is given in their honor. 415-421-0809.

Our Lady of Guadalupe
Since the closing of nearby Our Lady of Guadalupe church, we extend a warm welcome to anyone who would like to become a member of the "Guadalupenas," who perpetuate devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. 415-421-0809.

Parish Council
Consists of Leaders/Presidents of our committees and organizations, school representatives, and lay parishioners selected by the Pastor to discuss and work together in achieving goals benefiting our church and school. 415-421-0809.

RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)
Weekly sessions are held for those adults who are interested in the teachings of the Catholic Church and celebrating the sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation or making a profession of faith and celebrating the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. Saint Vincent de Paul Society

Salesian Chinese Young Adult Fellowship

Our goal is to connect Chinese young adults through social, spiritual and service events so as to strengthen their faith and encourage active participation in church. Some of our activities are monthly fellowship, youth mass, sports day, annual retreat, annual picnic and small group faith sharing. For more information, please click here for their website

Salesian Boys/Girls Club
The Salesian Boys Club was established in 1918 by Fr. Oreste Trinchieri to administer to the needs of the youth of North Beach and now has expanded to serve children from all over the city. Parishioners who wish to get involved may do so through coaching, tutoring, volunteering special services, etc. 415-397-3068 or

Salesian Cooperators
Founded by Don Bosco himself, the Cooperators are an association of Christians living in the world according to the Chrism of Don Bosco. A type of "third order," the Cooperators also work on keeping the church beautiful, and helping with any and all sorts of parish functions. The Cooperators always help when needed. Seniors Program
The Seniors meet every Tuesday. afternoon in the Parish Center, for Bingo, movies, food, and conversation. Dues $8.00 per year. 415-421-0809.

Ushers/Greeters
These ladies and gentlemen welcome people at the back of the Church before services begin, to seat them when necessary, and to be available to take up the collection. 415-421-0809

VIDES West USA

Vides USA is a Salesian lay volunteer organization that is dedicated to the promotion and education of socially at-risk youth and women worldwide. VIDES USA provides service opportunities that build leadership skills among American volunteers by emphasizing the value of solidarity and the respect of the human person, striving for social justice, sharing oneself freely, and incorporating Christian spirituality into the rhythm of everyday living. Young Adults / Just Adults
We have two adults groups for people from ages 20s to 40+ interested in being connected to the Church by expressing faith in practical and modern ways. The "Just Adults" group (people in their 40s), and our newly formed "Young Adults" (people in their 20s and 30s). These groups have socials and meet for Bible Study on the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Parish Center. Outreach and mentoring opportunities are available and encouraged. Just Adults & Young Adults also help in activities with the club and school youth.

Young Men's Institute (YMI)
